Ok so I’m a day late on this one BUT that just means that you guys will cry to day instead of yesterday haha!! Oh what an emotional roller coaster!
So today I have chosen to talk about Jodi Picoult’s My Sister’s Keeper. This novel was very popular a few years back. So much so that they made it into a film starring Cameron Diaz. Of course the film was quite different from the novel to the point that a different person died all together.
Anyways, this novel is amazing. This is one I would put on the “novels that have made me cry the most” list. Yes, I have a list like that! Don’t judge! It is about the bonds of family, more specifically sisterhood. What we will do to help each other, protect each other, and save each other. This is a novel about a child with an illness so if this is something that you don’t think you could handle then I wouldn’t recommend it. However, it is also very inspiring so it may turn out to be just the kind of thing you are looking for. It happens that way, the saddest novels are the ones that inspire us the most.
